Why the name Susitna Rods????

The Susitna Drainage is where Ben has spent countless hours guiding salmon and trout fishing trips. The Susitna River and its hundreds of clear tributaries provide world class fishing which gave Ben the opportunity to fully embrace the fishing and guiding lifestyle while providing for his family.

The Susitna River in South Central, Alaska is so awesome! 313 miles long, flowing from Susitna Glacier to Cook Inlet. 4th largest king salmon run in the state. 15th largest river in the United States. Flowing through pristine wilderness with so many tributaries, braids, good fishing areas and miles to explore!! The boat ride to the fishing is worth the price itself, on our guide trips.
